🇭🇺 Memorial Program for the 1956 Hungarian Revolution – Newark (October 28, 2023)

On October 28, 2023, Crossroads Band SF participated in the memorial event commemorating the 1956 Hungarian Revolution in Newark, California. As part of the program, the band performed a cover of “Lassan kocsis” and “Még azt mondják,” folk songs also interpreted by Magdi Rúzsa. It was an emotional and respectful tribute through music, honoring a pivotal moment in Hungarian history.

In collaboration with Eszterlánc Hungarian Folk Ensemble, Crossroads Band also performed “Küldj messziről vigasztalást.” Beáta’s singing was beautifully accompanied by vocals from Orsi Kozek and Réka Kovács, both members of Eszterlánc, alongside dancers from the ensemble.
