ðŸ‡ðŸ‡º Hungarian National Holidays
Crossroads Band SF regularly participates in community events commemorating significant Hungarian national holidays. These special occasions provide an opportunity to honor Hungarian history, culture, and traditions through music, poetry, and community gatherings.
We often take part in celebrations such as:
- March 15 – Hungarian Revolution and War of Independence (1848-1849): Remembering the fight for freedom and democracy.
- August 20 – St. Stephen’s Day (State Foundation Day): Celebrating Hungary’s first king and the foundation of the Hungarian state.
- October 23 – Hungarian Revolution (1956): Honoring those who stood for independence and freedom in 1956.
Our band contributes with musical performances, often featuring reinterpretations of historic songs, poetry set to music, and traditional Hungarian melodies, helping communities stay connected to their heritage.
