After a short break, our band returned to the stage for a very special concert, joined by amazing guest musicians.

Debut Concert in Los Angeles
Crossroads Band made their Los Angeles debut on January 10, 2024, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, performing a heartfelt acoustic concert with Hungarian lyrics, folk-inspired melodies, and soft rock elements. Special thanks to organizers Kati Gyulai and Nándor Vodnák.

Songs from the Clubhouse
In January 2024, Crossroads Band SF held a special farewell concert, now rebranded as “Songs at the Clubhouse”.

Second Hawaii Diaspora Camp
The second camp expanded on the musical and cultural experience with joint ukulele and dance sessions by Attila and Beáta, morning exercise, and a lively music quiz night. The week ended with a battery-powered Crossroads Band concert in Kapiʻolani Park and an impromptu Hungarian tourist audience!

October 23, 1956 Commemoration
Crossroads Band SF honored the 1956 Hungarian Revolution with heartfelt performances of “Lassan kocsis” and “Még azt mondják” on October 28, 2023, in Newark, CA.

“Stephen, the King” Day
On October 14, 2023, Crossroads Band hosted a full-day “István, a király” celebration in honor of the rock opera’s 40th anniversary. Film screenings, discussions, dance, and singalongs filled the future Hungarian Cultural Center.

Crossroads Band SF hosted a lively Hungarian Retro Party and Karaoke Night on April 15, 2023, featuring music, dance, and community spirit at Redwood City’s Hungarian Reformed Church.

Commemoration of March 15
On March 19, 2023, Crossroads Band SF performed at Woodside Priory School’s March 15 commemoration, presenting Tolcsvay’s musical rendition of Petőfi’s “Nemzeti dal” and folk military songs from Buza.
